About Us
Your Child is in Caring Hands
Mission
To prepare students to become academically, emotionally, and socially confident for kindergarten.
Core Values
We believe;

-
All children can learn and we teach them in a learning style that meets their needs.

-
Celebrating, recognizing, and learning about our unique cultures is important.

-
Students will see themselves within the child care center and throughout our curriculum.
Motto
Wonder Fun Academy is where learning and fun are one and we take care of children like our own.
Commitment to Excellence
At Wonder Fun Academy (WFA) we believe in educating the whole child: academically, emotionally, and socially.

WFA values taking care of your child like our own. We use research-based curricula along with teacher guidance to help your child thrive. In addition to math, reading, art, science, and music, students will have lessons focusing on emotional development. Students will learn productive ways to communicate their wants and needs as well as develop their language skills and voice.

Learning how to play and learn with others is an important part of social development. WFA also guides students in exploring their feelings and how to navigate them in a positive manner. We help students develop conflict resolution strategies and "play nicely in the sandbox."

Learning should be enjoyable and support is given to ensure children have fun while here at WFA.
Our goal is to prepare students to become academically, emotionally, and socially confident for kindergarten. These three pillars are essential to students' success in school.

Wonder Fun Academy Story
Wonder Fun Academy was inspired by a love for teaching children, 4 generations of teachers/administrators, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
My late father, Willie F. Adams Jr's., love of art was the inspiration behind the colorful logo and the acronym of Wonder Fun Academy. An art teacher converted to a businessman he dreamt of owning his own business. This dream was passed on to me and the seed for Wonder Fun Academy was planted.
My mother, Sylvia Adams, encouraged me to leave accounting and pursue teaching and school administration. As I watched her former students thank her for the love and guidance she poured into them, it showed me the magnitude of the education profession and the importance of a child-centered learning environment.
Through God's blessings and years of toil, Wonder Fun Academy was born. This dream come true is bittersweet as my father is now watching from heaven.
